I'm posting this for Illustration Friday. I'm so happy I finally did it! My first! :) It's good practice... makes me draw even if I don't feel like it. You guys should try it!

I am Steph and I am an artist. I live in my head most of the time. I think in pictures. Sometimes words just get in the way. I love peanut butter. I get bored easily. When I was 12 my best friend and I created the FFF (Federation of Fellow Froggists). We made an alternate universe populated by frogs. I still have the maps and my membership card. I wanted to be an astrophysicist until I discovered that it involved a lot of math. I decided to stick to reading science fiction. I cultivate moods. I forget to drink my vitamins sometimes. I have vivid dreams. I have recurring ones about vampires. My high school friends and I tried to form a band called “Shelob’s Lair.” I quit my guitar lessons after a week of having callused fingers. I liked our logo though. I almost didn’t graduate from college because of Spanish so I swore that I would never go to Spain. I lived there for 5 years. I love chai tea. I drink too much coffee sometimes. I believe in magic. I really want to have a cat.

I'm soooooo glad I'm not the only one who makes artistc chimera!
My daughter often draws in ball point pen and these drawings are by far the best she does.
It's the magick in the ball I reckon ahe and it have an affinity.

Great pick, very different, and quite disturbing, but in a good makes me want to look at it sort of way.
This is a praying mantis, right? If it has red hair it would be a very good likeness to an ex of mine! LOL!! Great job!

Thanks!!! For years I have been trying to sketch like Michaelangelo, Leonardo, and company, but couldn't make my stuff look the way "professional" artsy drawings were supposed to be. Hey, I grew up reading comic books so I like clean lines! hehehe. I'm finally seeing that I do have a style of my own. :)
